Marie Wikström is EX-Center’s patient coordinator and was one of the founders of EX-Center. She has worked in the organisation since the start in 1993. Marie is employed by the Swedish Thalidomide Society and has been active within the organisation since 1986. She was Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Thalidomide Society during the years of 2004-2006. Marie has thalidomide-caused deficiencies herself, which ensures that EX-Center in its daily activities has an ever-present disability perspective.
